IT Manager

GCVS is dedicated to providing top-quality learning experience for students and educators. Technology plays a vital role in our mission, and we are looking for a skilled IT Manager to oversee our IT infrastructure, support digital learning initiatives and ensure seamless tech operations.
The IT Manager will report directly to the Director of Technology.
As an IT MANAGER you will:
- Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and security across the institution
- Support and enhance educational technology, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools
- Ensure data security, student privacy, and compliance with education technology standards
- Provide technical support and training for faculty, staff, and students
- Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, cloud integration, cybersecurity initiatives and integrating new tools.
- Collaborate with staff to optimize technology use in teaching and administration
- Thrive in a collaborative environment where innovation meets education
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven Experience as an IT management or leadership, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of networks, cybersecurity and cloud-based solutions
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and EdTech tools
- Ability to manage IT budgets, projects and vendor relationships
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership and communication skills
- Certifications such as Google Certified Educator, ITIL or CompTIA are a plus
